This is a shot i took to practice some creativity.  although a spoon and a book have nothing to do with one another, it made for an interesting photo.

Fall is here! But it will be gone before we know it.  October came and went in the blink of an eye which is no fun for photographers because this is the season where we capture all these amazing colors.  We only have about a week left until trees drop their leaves for the winter so take advantage of these opportunities.

Summer is over!  These are my last shots of color for the season.  These shots were taken down port in Port Jeff.  It's a beautiful town with gorgeous sunset water views.  I'm sure this town will look just as beautiful in the winter.

On Saturday I attended a photoshoot organized by Professor Naideau.  This was at Brenner Photo Productions in Plainview.  This was an amazing experience! I got to work one on one with models from Hampton Models.  I spent the afternoon shooting and walked away with over 250 images.  Each image shot came out perfectly exposed and practically magazine quality.

This is a shot i took today to practice motion.  I looked stupid taking this in the supermarket but it was worth it.

So here is a photo I took today.  Its something that has been done before but I have not tried myself. I used a flashlight over the top of the ring and angled it to give the heart shadow. The flashlight also gave a nice tint around the corners of the image.

This is a photo i took for my first project in digital 1.  Before this program, i never experimented with shooting manually.  During the beginning of this project, my photos were very underexposed and I was getting frustrated because I had to figure out how to take a photo with the right depth of field.  In this photo i got it and for me it got better from there.  I practiced on different objects, in different light and found one image i will use for my project.  This photo was my ah-ha moment and gave me confidence to throughout the rest of the project.
